Andriu El Napoletano comes from Naples, a city whose distinctive cultural energy, creativity and social diversity shaped his outlook from an early age. While still young, he shared responsibility for organising cultural events. Those experiences showed him the value of creating places where people can meet, exchange ideas and make their artistic abilities visible.
Economics and professional experience
Andriu studied Economics and devoted many years to the field of insurance. As an insurance expert, he built professional experience in an area requiring economic understanding, analytical thinking, responsibility and careful consideration of opportunities and risks. This background remains an important foundation for his entrepreneurial activities and his leadership of Ferlandina 26.
An international perspective
Andriu spent many years living in different South American countries. Encounters with different cultures, ways of life and social realities broadened his perspective and strengthened his belief that cultural exchange can connect people. He speaks Spanish, Italian and English, allowing him to communicate directly with people from a wide range of backgrounds.
Business and digital projects
Alongside his cultural involvement, Andriu participates in several real-estate projects and invests in digital and online initiatives. He is particularly interested in the relationship between physical places, entrepreneurial ideas and the possibilities created by the digital world.
The vision for Ferlandina 26
Through Ferlandina 26, Andriu is pursuing above all a cultural and social project. The venue in El Raval, Barcelona, aims to give young people an opportunity to express their art, creativity and individual talents. It is intended as an accessible place where ideas can begin, first projects can be realised and valuable experience can be gained.
Supporting Catalan language and culture
The cultivation and promotion of the Catalan language is especially important to Andriu. Ferlandina 26 aims to give cultural activities in Catalan space and visibility, bringing the diversity, expressive strength and quality of Catalan culture to a broad international audience. The purpose is not separation but connection: Catalan speakers can experience the language in an active cultural setting, while visitors from Barcelona and elsewhere can discover the language and culture openly and directly.
A bridge between generations
Ferlandina 26 is also intended for older and experienced cultural practitioners. Under the direction of Andriu El Napoletano, Ferlandina 26 aims to become far more than an event space. The idea is simple and meaningful: people need places where they can express themselves, learn from one another and develop something together.
